Gentrification of Scarborough Continues with Kingston & Co

Scarborough's reputation as being as remote as Siberia (hence the nickname Scarbiria) is quickly fading. Gentrification is coming in the form of a recent development, Kingston & Co Condominiums by developers TAS, Main and Main Developments, and First Capital Realty. Kingston & Co will reinvent the mid-rise condo with a vibrant architectural structure by Teeple Architects. At just 10-storeys, Kingston & Co will house 140 units built to the high sustainability standards that have been trademarked by TAS - including social, ecological, cultural, and economic. From TAS's track record with previous community sponsorships of events such as the Junction Flea and Music Festival and the Farm Lot, residents can be sure that TAS takes its sustainability standards seriously. Kingston & Co will also be constructed to use minimal amounts of energy and water, just as TAS' M5V condos in the Entertainment District, which recently received a LEED Gold certification. With retail shops anchoring the ground floor, TAS is sure to become a welcome addition to the growing Scarborough community. ·
