New TTC Video Shows Off Superlong Streetcar Features

They're showing up more and more on Toronto's streets, turning heads as they glide quietly along the rails, getting in a last few test runs. When the TTC's new streetcars go into service at the end of this month, riders will have to learn a whole new protocol for getting on and off the superlong cars, but there are a lot of features that haven't made the news yet. In this video, TTC spokesguys Brad Ross and Andy Byford give a lot more detail about the cars, and show off some of the sweetest new features. From interior bike racks to exterior speakers that announce an arriving streetcar's route and destination, there are going to be some cool things to discover.
