Curbed Toronto's Monday Mansion feature examines the most interesting mega homes on the market around Toronto. Have a listing in mind that we're missing? Send it to the tipline at toronto@curbed.com.

This 24,000 sq. ft. megamansion at 10 High Point Road in the Bridle Path has been on the market for a while now, listed at $28,800,000. It's owned by embattled Russian-Canadian multimillionaire Alex Shnaider and his wife Simona. The 10-bedroom, 15-bathroom house is filled with luxurious finishes and appliances; the Shnaiders' luxury lifestyle is legendary, with huge yachts and private jets and Bieber serenading teenaged daughter Erica.

The sheer size of some of the rooms is mind-boggling. With all those seating areas and coffee tables and floor lamps, the main floor has the feel of the lobby/lounge area of a hotel/conference centre (there's even a ballroom). The decor is a strange mix of contemporary and traditional, with lots of pink and plum upholstery and gilt and chrome, and huge marble columns. Then there's that ... bear. Cat. Thing. The thing in the corset. What is that thing? The exterior is pretty fantastic; the pool isn't enormous but it's a got beautiful mosaic walls, and there's a sweet cabana with a full outdoor kitchen and bar and a huge wood-burning fireplace. Over on the lawn, a bunch of fat white concrete sheep stand looking at the house; they won't help keep the lawn trimmed, but you won't have to clean up after them either.
