The stations on Toronto's new Spadina subway line will feature artistic elements that reflect each station's community and history. With a budget of $500,000 per station, the TTC has assembled a team of architects (Will Alsop—who designed OCAD's landmark Sharpe building—is one) to design unique, accessible and dramatic buildings. The Spadina line is scheduled to open in 2016. [CBC]
