Torontoist has a look back at the gone-but-not-forgotten Inn on the Park, the Toronto landmark midcentury hotel that sat high atop a hill at Eglinton and Leslie, overlooking the Don Valley ravines. Sadly, the Inn on the Park never recovered fully from a devastating 1981 fire (although its bar stayed popular among locals, who dubbed it "the Still on the Hill"); after a stint as a Holiday Inn it closed for good in 2005, and the building was sold to an auto dealership.
