Where/What: 3BR/1BA row house steps from Trinity-Bellwoods park
Lot Size: 16.5 x 107
The Skinny: For someone who's not afraid of hard work, this house could be an amazing deal. It's in a very hot neighbourhood—one of the hottest in the city. Look beyond the brick's hideous peeling paint and and the overgrown front garden and you'll find a solid century home with big airy rooms with nine-foot ceilings, the original fireplace and mantel, and good hardwood floors. It will take a lot of work—and money—to make it liveable, though; for one thing, the kitchen ceiling looks like it's collapsing, and the basement looks grim. It's also safe to bet you would need to redo the electrical and plumbing.
What do you think the asking price is for this run-down diamond in the rough?
