Regent Park Phase 3: The Bulldozers are Back

Phase 3 of the Regent Park revitalization is underway; it's the long-awaited final phase of the project, which will see the transformation of the 60s-era social-housing experiment into a mixed-income community that should integrate more smoothly with surrounding neighbourhoods. Phase 3 started with the bulldozing of the last bank of townhouses along River Street; they'll be replaced by low-rise housing and an athletic field. Curbed Toronto will follow along as the new Regent Park rises from the rubble. · Demolition begins for Phase 3 at Regent Park [Urban Toronto]
