Developer Daniels Corp. confirmed it has purchased the Guvernment and Koolhaus Entertainment complex after last week's announcement Canada's largest nightclub was closing its doors. The developer plans to build a "commercial-residential community" on the 2.8-acre property at Queens Quay East. Since the announcement, rumours were already circulating the waterfront site would eventually become condos. [Toronto Star]
