Westbank Projects Corp., the new owner of Mirvish Village including Honest Ed's, says the future Bathurst and Bloor will become a mixed-use development and is unlikely to be rebuilt as a hotel. The real estate developer said at a recent community meeting they don't currently have a plan for the site and have yet to hire an architect firm. Honest Ed's Warehouse will close December 31, 2016 and any redevelopment won't happen until 2017, at the earliest. [Westbank]
