Sonic Boom, a vinyl record shop in Mirvish Village, is one of the first tenants to move out of the recently sold property at Bathurst and Bloor. Real estate developer Westbank Corp. purchased Mirvish Village including Honest Ed's Warehouse for an estimated price of 100 million. Sonic Boom will move to its new location near Spadina and Queen while other retailers on the Mirvish block might soon follow pending the closure of Honest Ed's December 31, 2016. [blogTO]
Amazing news that @SonicBoomMusic is moving into 215 Spadina with Dark Horse and @csiTO. Great location for such an iconic, essential store.
