Neighbourhood Beef

A controversial midtown development is getting the cold shoulder from neighbours at Yonge and Eglinton following a community meeting last month. The proposal calls for two five-storey condominium floors added to existing 14-storey apartment buildings and to construct three new buildings at 6, 24 and 32 storeys on Holly Street, Soudan and Dunfield Avenue. Residents say the proposed development goes "beyond reasonable limits given the neighbourhood's high traffic and overcrowded transit." Have a look at the application. [My Town Crier]
