The city has chosen developer Artscape to manage 80 affordable artists' apartments at the Aqualina condos, the first condominium residence in the new Bayside neighbourhood along the waterfront. The plan calls for affordable housing for on-site artists in the 220-unit condo building, a non-profit initiative part of the $1.1 billion Bayside neighbourhood development. The condo is expected to be completed in 2016. [Toronto Star]
