Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, a column that explores what one can rent for a set dollar amount in various Toronto neighbourhoods. Today's price: $4,500/month.
↑ First up is a two-bedroom condo with three bathrooms in Bloor West. Located in the Riverhouse Condos, the luxury building features an indoor pool and close to the historic Old Mill Inn (for spa and high tea). Sorry dog lovers, no pets allowed. The unit is renting for $4,500/month.
↑ A penthouse suite at River and Queen, a new complex with 2,350 square feet of space. Heavy industrial style with three-bedrooms and bathrooms, two parking spots and locker. There are seven Juliette balconies, and it's renting for $4,600/month.
↑ For $4,800 a month, there's a three-bedroom house available near Dovercourt and Dundas. There's plenty of space at 2,000 square feet, a detached garage and 2 car parking. The house was for sale but didn't sell and the owners are now trying to rent it out.
↑ In the Trinity Bellwoods neighbourhood, this three-bedroom house wants $4,950/month. The unfurnished property is a renovated Victorian semi with a third floor (although the ad only indicates two-storeys). There's a cute backyard patio for those weekend (or nightly) barbecues and walking distance to the always happening Queen Street West.
↑ Curbed once featured a rental in Yorkville for $25,000/month so this luxury condo at $4,500/month seems like a bargain. This 1,200 square foot condo with two bedrooms is good for those who love heights; the unit is located on the 46th floor.
↑ On the Lakeshore, this two-storey unit is located in the Tip Top Lofts, a converted building from the former 1920s Tip Top Tailor factory. It's 1,882 square feet with plenty of industrial and concrete interior. The unit is renting for $4,699/month.
