A recent piece about the Drake Hotel expansion plans may shed light on the future of the recently sold Broadview Hotel including Jilly's Strip Bar. Drake owner, Jeff Stober hints that details about a "second Drake Hotel will be announced in the coming weeks," spreading a rumour the Broadview site could be the next boutique hotel. Streetcar Developments who purchased the east end property says the site will not become condos and describes their plans as a "vibrant destination that will enhance the look, feel and livability of the neighbourhood" which is similar to the Drake's mantra as a "hotbed for culture."
