Near the Don Valley Parkway (DVP) and Queen Street East sits this former vinegar factory converted into a loft. This one-bedroom plus den at 19 River St. is under 900 square feet and listed for $529,900. Toronto has some interesting loft conversions like the Candy Factory Lofts on Queen West, a former candy factory where director Sarah Polley filmed her 2012 documentary, Stories We Tell (her father also lived in the building). There's also the 1929 Tip Top Tailor building near the city's waterfront and for those kids at heart, the Toy Factory Lofts in Liberty Village. The Queen City Vinegar Co. Lofts is a five-storey conversion of a warehouse built in 1907. There's just 38 suites with the largest unit in the industrial building just over 1,000 square feet. It's a heritage building completed in 2008 and the vinegar smell has since faded, or so one hopes.
