On April Fools Day, City Councillor Kristyn Wong-Tam posted on Twitter that a Victorian house was available for free, that is if you could move the 3,000 square foot coach house to another property. The councillor who is also a real estate agent says it's no joke; the owners are trying to save the home built in 1889 from demolition. Last year, the city of Newmarket tried to give away another "free" property, the historic Murray House is available, along with a cost of $70,000 to move it. [Twitter]
