A narrow townhouse in the Beaconsfield Village neighbourhood was the former home of actress Beatrice Lillie (known as Lady Peel) and renovated to honour the historic significance of the property. Architect firm RZLBD transformed the $529,900 dark Victorian house into a modern, airy, and light-filled space, later on the real estate market for $1.198 million. Do have a look at the photos; perhaps the Tony Award-winning actress would have approved. [Inhabitat]
