Now That's a House!

To escape the bustle of downtown living, a Toronto couple commissioned Williamson Chong Architects to build an eco-conscious house near Georgian Bay. The house is positioned at the base of a slope, "allowing them to submerge part of the ground floor into the landscape," and the home is warmed with underfloor heating and a passive ventilation system in the cooler months. Check out some of Chong's other Toronto projects. [Dezeen]
