Walmart at Bathurst and Bloor

On Monday evening, Councillors Adam Vaughan and Mike Layton organized a community meeting to discuss the future development of Bathurst and Bloor Street extending from Dupont to Queen. Residents were interested in the redevelopment of Mirvish Village asking if "a Loblaws or Walmart could be built on the Honest Ed's site." The city planner was careful with her answers but indicating that it was very possible. Mayor Rob Ford was not present at the meeting; he was busy promoting Toronto in LA. [Toronto.ca]
