Over the weekend, the Sutton Place, the former hotel on Bay Street, held a content sale for thousands of its pieces including furniture, art and ballroom chandeliers valued at $25,000. Also available for auction was 12 disco balls, massive washing machines and dryers and a bed in the Presidential Suite that Madonna slept in during her tour in 1998. The hotel is being converted into the 41-storey residential Britt Condos. [CBC]
