Meet The Versailles of Vaughan's Cheaper Little Sister at $4.7M

Located just down the street from the famous "Versailles of Vaughan" mansion, this newly listed palace at 40 Rocmary Pl. is far less Versailles and over-the-top than its gold-plated $17.8 million dollar neighbour (and that manse is still for sale). This mansion listed for $4.7 million is a 12,000 square foot custom built home with four (less elaborate) bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Of course, there are extras like the sauna, wet bar, wine cellar and gym but its no comparison to the ridiculous household amenities of the Versailles of Vaughan home like its elaborate heated ferrari room and indoor swimming pool. At least the annual taxes of $22,676 are somewhat cheaper at 40 Rocmary; the Versailles mansion yearly taxes are $35,582. Will either house ever sell?
