Bathrobe Required For $1.2M Townhouse on Bayview Avenue

Built two years ago on Bayview Avenue, the modern townhouses will make drivers do a double take. This townhouse complex doesn't quite look like the other smaller houses facing the busy intersection. This four-bedroom dwelling asking $1.225 million is 3,000 square feet with four bathrooms, glass railing and a private elevator to help with all those stairs. Living directly on Bayview does have its disadvantages with constant traffic and lack of privacy. The townhouse is floor-to-ceiling windows with great natural light yet many owners keep their blinds closed. On the plus side, there's a large community park and green space directly across the street. There's likely to be change in the area with the acquisition of the nearby upscale Bayview Village Shopping Centre. The mall was sold to a group representing the British Columbia Investment Management Corp. for $500 million in the fall, the largest property sale of last year. While Bayview Village is sticking around, there are rumoured plans of building high-rise condos in the mall's parking lot, and we're bound to see even more density to the area.
