Hint: It's an Easy Ride With Dedicated Streetcar Lanes

Welcome to Cornerspotter, Curbed's game in which you try to identify the location and/or identity of a particular building or streetscape in a historic photograph. Impress us and your fellow Curbed readers with your uncanny insight into Toronto and its past! We'll reveal the answer tomorrow.

Pictured above is a busy street corner in the city which looks drastically different in 1911 and 1924 than it does in present day. Today, the streets are an easy ride for commuters with the installation of its dedicated streetcar lanes. While the gentrifying area is now home to shops and quick eats, the site is about to get redeveloped with a new high-rise happening right at the corner. Across the way, a former gas station is boarded up paving the way for another new project and on the west side, the land has been sold to redevelop as well. Take a guess. Where is this corner in the city?
