.) Parkdale: Grand Electric is harnessing the power of tacos and barbecue to make a charity calendar that will benefit ReThink Breast Cancer. The photos are a send-up of cheesy beer advertising that fits the restaurant's youthful atmosphere: "Sexy but hilarious." 2.) Entertainment District: Carnivores rejoiced this week when Copacabana Brazilian Steakhouse quietly started soft openings of their three-floor, three-kitchen party restaurant. The massive space that has been two years in the making is said to be unlike anything in Canada.

.) PEI to Toronto: Prince Edward Island star chef David Mottershall from Charlottetown's Terre Rouge is headed to Toronto. This news will everything to anyone who has ever dined at the Island's premiere snout-to-tail restaurant. For everybody else, trust that this is exciting news.

.) Rosedale: Eater readers get to peek inside Rosedale's new juice boutique that mixes rustic with modern.

.) Follow Friday: Eater Toronto launched a new series that picks one notable person on Twitter, Instagram, plus a blog, that should be followed for one reason or another. See this week's Follow Friday picks.

.) Little Italy: College Street's Mad Italian Gelato bar has been shuttered, along with their other two locations in Midtown and on the Danforth. Owner Eli Turkienicz couldn't ignore that "it was losing too much money."
