Yorkville raises the bar once again with another luxury development that includes a 3D façade of bent steel and a rooftop pool with private cabanas. The renderings for the 58-storey condo at 1 Yorkville are over-the-top with amenities and expensive luxury. Along with the pool, the condo includes a spa, an extensive fitness club, private movie theatre and a rooftop entertainment level. The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) may have moved further downtown but Yorkville is still the area for celebrities and a place to be seen. Rapper Drake moved out of the hood but actor Mark Wahlberg is moving to the neighbourhood this summer and into a $12 million dollar penthouse at 36 Hazelton Avenue (one of Wahlberg's many properties, of course).
