As the Aura Condos rise near College Park, Toronto awaits to see the nations tallest residential building at 78-storeys. With 985 units and a penthouse worth $17.5 million, the Aura is the talk of the town over at Yonge and Gerrard Street. There's 38,000 square feet of retail space including a Marshalls and Bed Bath and Beyond. One Toronto blogger who recently visited the retail space was unimpressed by the shopping mall referring to it as a "Failed Pacific Mall." The blogger writes:
The Failed Pacific Mall vibes continue with an empty food court that is at the very least, better lit. The staff sit at a table and chat while waiting for customers. Curiously, there's a stage. I wonder if it's ever seen any action….It's unfortunate, because executed properly, this could be a really bustling area."
