Toronto's First Apartment

Here's a look at Toronto's first apartment building, the St. George Mansions at 1 Harbord Street, in 1904. It cost $100,000 to build the six-storey complex with 34 apartments, taking five years to complete construction. Today, the area at Harbord and St. George is across the street from the University of Toronto's Robarts Library. [BlogTO]
