The Globe and Mail invites architect Frank Gehry to an architectural tour around the city after his recent comments that only two historical buildings in Toronto are worth saving from destruction. Gehry who was somewhat dismissive of Toronto architecture during his visit would enjoy sites like the flatiron building on Front Street; pavilion architecture on the Exhibition grounds; and the historic Distillery District. Toronontians weren't impressed by Gehry's recent comments that the only buildings in Toronto worth preserving were Old City Hall and Osgoode Hall. [Globe]
