Healthy 'Hoods

According to new research from St. Michael's Hospital, you may have a greater risk of developing diabetes or obesity depending on how walkable your neighbourhood is. The study shows that people living in walkable, high-density areas are more likely to take public transit than to drive and were overall healthier. Bridle Path and Morningside residents who ranked poorly on the map, might need to buy a treadmill. [CBC]
