If you were planning to spend your retirement years in Etobicoke, specifically at Bloor and Kingsway, you may have to make other arrangements. The three storey rental building at 2800 Bloor Street West that was supposed to be a demolished and turned into a retirement home, was sold to become a condo building.

Architect, Richard Wengle, will design the nine storey condo unit, along with five additional townhouses at its new address 4 The Kingsway. Wengle is known for his modern and transitional-style projects such as the new urban Townhouse Complex in Trinity Bellwoods. What's the list price for the new Kingsway condos? The units start at $1.2 million, with sizes ranging from 1,400-2,600 square feet. Floorplans will be available soon.
