This week, the Globe and Mail posted some historic photos of the St. Clair West streetcar line . The photos depicted, courtesy of the City of Toronto Archives, show the construction of the streetcar tracks at 6299 St. Clair Avenue, West of Robina. Later, St. Clair Avenue would be one of the few streets in the city wide enough to accommodate a dedicated right-of-way. If you're a fan of historical photos of our city, you'll also want to check out more images from the Lost Toronto blog, especially the photo of the corner of College and Spadina.
