Monster Demolition

A Brampton man has been given until January to demolish his partially built "monster" house; a judged ruled earlier this week. The city admitted to approving a building permit in error for the 6,600 square foot house on the quiet residential street. The owner was ordered to demolish the property or file an application with the city of adjustment. Previously, the biggest house on the Brampton street was a 2,000 square foot bungalow. The neighbours thought the owner was building a new Walmart. [The Star]
