Chinatown Mural

Toronto features some incredible public murals including these ones in Chinatown near Dundas Street, sponsored by the city. The city is hoping to discourage unwanted street graffiti and beautify the streets and laneways with public art but art doesn't come cheap. The new mural on Bathurst Street near Davenport cost the city $23,000 for the artistic and controversial project. [Occasional Toronto]
