This completely renovated house near Danforth Avenue and Victoria Park is an absolute steal at $359,000 with its "amazing upgraded kitchen," bathroom, flooring and new roof. The one bedroom at 48 St. Dunstan Dr. is "move-in ready" with tons of extras including heated front porch and new windows. The agent says "it's move-in ready and there's no work to do here!" Are you kidding us? While the bungalow might be reasonably priced (or a little bit over) at $359K, the small house with one bathroom looks more like a school portable than a newly renovated space. The kitchen has a new sink and painted white cupboards while the tiny windows don't seem like a selling feature. The agent also points out the house is a "fantastic opportunity for young families." With only one bedroom, there's larger alternatives in the area that might make more sense for a growing family. We found this slightly bigger two-bedroom bungalow near Coxwell and Greenwood asking $379,900. There's also this two-bedroom plus den with a nicer renovated kitchen and interior asking $329,800.

The bungalow at St. Dunstan Drive is still an interesting condo alternative for those wanting to live in the city without paying downtown prices. The location is still a quick subway ride to Greektown in the Danforth or eastbound to Scarborough, if you prefer that area. Once you get closer to the Danforth, house prices increase like this spacious two-bedroom semi going for $499,000.
