New Condos on St. Clair Feature a Music Recording Studio

If hip hop artist Drake is looking to purchase another Toronto property, he might be interested in these swanky new condo/lofts equipped with a full music recording and rehearsal sound studio. Currently under construction, the Imperial Plaza near Yonge Street and St. Clair Avenue, features some slightly ridiculous and equally awesome amenities like a 10,000 square foot fitness facility with yoga and pilates, two screening rooms, squash courts and a golf simulator.

The building at 111 St. Clair Ave. was originally the site of the former Imperial Oil Headquarters, Canada's largest oil company. Constructed in 1957, the building was the tallest in the city, and the observation deck was open to the public and school groups. When completed, the condo building will have 23-storeys with a variety of luxury units including a 6,550 square foot penthouse with wrap-around terrace priced at $8.4 million. The wealthy neighbourhood is known for its expensive real estate and boutique shopping.
