A three-storey house in the Rosedale neighbourhood failed to draw a buyer at its originally listed price of $6.5 million. The Wolf House, named for its original owners Lawrence and Mary Wolf, sat on the market before dropping its price to $5.595 million. Designed by award-winning architect Barton Myers, 51 Roxborough Dr. is about 4,600 square feet with three-bedrooms and bathrooms, and outdoor pool with wet bar. The architecture is quite intriguing with the front entrance ramp resembling a ship portal, corrugated steel ceilings and glass walls overlooking the backyard ravine.
So far there's been limited bite for the Wolf House while another home on the street sold for around $2 million. Do you think this house is overpriced?
