With the recent opening of CityPlace's new Parade Condo Towers and adjoining glass bridge, you may wonder how one builds a 130-foot-long bridge in the sky. Designed by architect Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, the CityPlace Parade condo near Spadina Avenue and Front Street consists of condo towers with a connecting glass skybridge. The lower level of the bridge is the SkyLounge, a party room and bar while the upper level features two luxury suites, 3,700 and 4,200 square feet. Residents have a great double view of city and lake. "It's like living in the air," says the developer, Concord Adex.
